Offer Letter Received! 🎉
However, I had to turn down due to the scary nature of reviews about this company. Although I am a super hard-working person, the days I want work-life balance, I want it no questions asked. I felt it would be tough here. 😟
Note to myself and my fellow engineers/developers:
This was a very lucrative offer for me in terms of pay and a change of role/tech stack. However, we sometimes lose ourselves amidst all this and forget that life is a marathon and not a sprint. There is more to life than work, and if you think a role might take your personal time at the benefit of more money, trust me, as a friend, as a brother, or as a well-wisher, it will not be worth it.
