Round 1
Questions: Specific question not provided.
Candidate's Approach
No approach provided.
Interviewer's Feedback
Lean No Hire or No Hire (in the worst case, as the recruiter mentioned I got negative feedback in this round).
Round 2
Questions: An n-ary tree question of medium to hard difficulty.
Candidate's Approach
I was able to devise a solution, including a follow-up question, and I still had about 5 minutes left. Overall, this round felt really great!
Interviewer's Feedback
Hire or Strong Hire (in the best case, as the recruiter told me the feedback was very positive and totally opposite to the first round).
Round 3
Questions: A variation of the Top K Frequent Elements problem with a twist.
Candidate's Approach
I successfully implemented both a brute force and an optimized solution during this round. I was also asked about the time and space complexity for both solutions. This was my best round out of all.
Interviewer's Feedback
Strong Hire.
Round 4
Questions: Specific question not provided.
Candidate's Approach
The Googleyness round went well, in my opinion, but the interviewer maintained a neutral expression throughout, which made it hard to gauge how I was doing.
Interviewer's Feedback
Assuming it's positive because my candidature has moved forward for the team matching phase.
